Queensland Flood Support – Grants and Loans

The state and federal governments have announced a financial support package of $558.5 million for small businesses, farmers, not for profit organisations and sporting and community clubs devastated by the flood emergency across south-east Queensland.

Eligibility is for designated local government areas that suffered significant damage as a result of the rainfall and flood events during 22 February to 7 March.  

The following grants will be made available:

  • Up to $75,000 for primary producers
  • Up to $50,000 for small businesses and not for profit organisations
  • $20,000 for sporting and community clubs

Low Interest Loans of up to $250,000 are also available as part of this support package as well as freight subsidies of $5000 for primary producers moving stock, feed, machinery, fuel or building/fencing materials.
