We said before they left that the numbers do not always tell the full story. But sometimes, they say everything.

RideWest 2026 has wrapped up, and the result is extraordinary: $800,000 raised for mental health services in regional and remote Queensland, delivered through the Royal Flying Doctor Service Queensland Section Wellbeing Out West program.

From Brisbane to Longreach, more than 1,311km through the heart of Queensland, riders and support crew gave everything they had over eight days on the road. For the communities Wellbeing Out West serves, those funds mean access to mental health care that would otherwise be out of reach.

Our team brought it home

Hall Chadwick QLD is incredibly proud of everyone who represented us on this year’s ride. Directors Rob Sendall, John Sloman and Toby Winten gave everything they had for the cause, riding alongside fellow cyclists from across the state who share the same belief in the importance of mental health support in regional Queensland.

Behind every ride is a support crew. Director Dugald Warby was back behind the wheel of the truck, keeping riders safe and on the road. Kate Brennan was on the ground in a marketing and media capacity, capturing the journey and keeping followers and supporters connected to the ride as it unfolded.

A special mention also goes to past Director Greg Kelly, who was back in the peloton this year and completed the ride once again.
