General Advisory

In conjunction with member firms of the Hall Chadwick Association, we have provided advice in relation to small and medium business matters in the following circumstances:

  • Providing specialist advice in relation to ‘trade on’ or asset realisation strategies involving business assets
  • Providing consultancy services in relation to turnaround or enhancement of the performance of business enterprises

Estate and Succession Planning

We have advised a large number of clients on succession and estate planning. This often involves passing the business and assets from one generation to the next. Key areas of expertise we can provide advice on:

We recently assisted a family business worth more than $30 million (comprising of multiple business structures and properties) with an effective reorganisation across 2 generation and key management personnel.

We have also assisted a family group worth over $50 million, with multiple business structures properties, with their estate planning. Together with the client and our network of trusted legal advisors, we were able to allow for a smooth and tax effective transfer of wealth across 3 generations of the family.
