Michael Cameron

After 21 years with Hall Chadwick QLD, our firm was heartbroken and shocked to hear of the sudden passing of Director Michael Cameron in May 2021.

Michael joined Hall Chadwick QLD in September 2000 after spending several years managing a Chartered Accounting firm in Papua New Guinea, and soon became an integral part of the firm. Through providing ongoing success and value to his clients, he was promoted to Associate in 2007 and Director in 2008.

While a Director he served as a member of the Hall Chadwick Association National Committee and was Vice-President of the Queensland Japan Chamber of Commerce & Industry (QJCCI).

Underpinning Michael’s immense contribution to Hall Chadwick QLD was his desire to deliver exceptional support and advice to his clients. Many of whom have since shared with us that he was considered more than their trusted accountant but also a friend.

Internally he was known to all as a respected and well-liked leader and colleague. Michael was generous with his time and was invested in mentoring and developing our junior accountants.

Testament to his passion for developing people, Michael leaves behind a strong and talented team headed up by Partner Cameron Field, committed to continuing Michael’s dedication to exceptional client support.

Our firm alongside the wider accounting community acknowledge the immense contribution of Michael Cameron and will continue to honour his legacy.
