Small Business Grants – Round 2 Opening 1 July 2020

In May, the Queensland Government released the $10k Small Business Adaptation Grants to support small businesses affected by Covid-19 shutdown restrictions to get back on their feet. The grants were in such high demand, that the $100m in funding was exhausted within the first few days. The Government has now announced that on 1 July 2020 round 2 of the program will open.

The second round will be different however in that the funding will be divided equally between regional Queensland and South East Queensland businesses. SEQ is defined by these regions:

  • Brisbane City Council
  • City of Gold Coast
  • Ipswich City Council
  • Lockyer Valley Regional Council
  • Logan City Council
  • Moreton Bay Regional Council
  • Noosa Shire Council
  • Redlands City Council
  • Scenic Rim Regional Council
  • Somerset Regional Council
  • Sunshine Coast Council
  • Toowoomba Regional Council

Regional Queensland is defined as all other local government areas within Queensland.
