Please join us in congratulating Ridewest on their nomination for the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) Local Hero award.
The nomination is now open for voting, and we would very much appreciate your vote of support.
The RideWest team has raised nearly $2 million dollars since inception, which provides free mental health education, one-on-one counselling and support to people living and working in remote and rural parts of Western Queensland through the Wellbeing Out West program.
The team has just ridden 1311km from Brisbane to Longreach again raising much needed funds for the Wellbeing Out West program and are currently just $18,000 shy of their fundraising target.

While their legs may be sore, their spirits are high having seen first-hand the impact their funds have had on these regional communities.
The team state that, “we’re not elite cyclists; we’re everyday people with a shared passion for making a difference.” And what a difference they are making.
While many of us know somebody impacted by mental health, living in an isolated community comes with another layer of challenges in accessing support.
Hall Chadwick QLD is so proud to be an ongoing supporter of RideWest and are thrilled at the monumental efforts of our HCQ RideWest team Greg, Rob, John, Duge and Toby.
After 1311km in the saddle they made it across the finish line, now let’s help get them across the fundraising line!,
