Queensland-based startups and small businesses can now apply to take innovation to market through the Advance Queensland Ignite Ideas Fund.

Grants of up to $200,000 (excluding GST) are now available to eligible businesses. Applications are now open and expressions of interest close on Thursday, 7 July 2022.

The Ignite Ideas Fund is available to commercialise new and innovative products or services, which are at ‘minimum viable product’ stage or beyond. A minimum viable product is one that is beyond initial proof of concept/prototype stage with the program’s goal to support small to medium businesses who have high-growth potential.

Round nine applications are now open.

This two-stage process is outlined as follows:

Stage one – Expression of interest

The first stage includes a short expression of interest application that must be submitted online before 10am on Thursday, 7 July 2022.

Stage two – Full application

Following the assessment of the expression of interest applications, shortlisted applicants will be invited to submit a full application.
